Footpaths

There are various walking paths around Nemuro, such as the Nemuro Footpaths, which were created by five dairy farmers and connect farms in the areas of Attoko, Hattaushi and Bettoga in Nemuro City. Another great option is the Ochiishi Seaside Way, which has walking paths going from pure forests of Sakhalin spruce to the coastline of Ochiishi.
By exploring on foot, you can see Nemuro’s incredible nature up close and personal.

Nemuro Footpaths

Created by five dairy farmers, the Nemuro Footpaths are trails that connect farms in the areas of Attoko, Hattaushi and Bettoga in Nemuro City. They’ll take you through pastures for grazing cows, the remains of the Shibetsu Line and an old horse road that was used to transport milk cans.
